Right now, there is no woman more dominant in professional wrestling than Jade Cargill. Since making her debut in All Elite Wrestling, she’s never lost a match – holding a 41-0 record and the TBS Championship. She’s taken on all comers, beating rookies and veterans alike, with recent victories over Madison Rayne and Athena standing out. However, some are hoping to see her go one on one with WWE star – Sasha Banks.
Jade Cargill Knows Professional Wrestling Is Unpredictable
While speaking with Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston, Cargill would address the dream match of her and Sasha Banks. Cargill would have the following to say about the chance of this match ever happening.
“I have no idea. Fans always want to create these fantasy matches that will probably never happen. But where there’s a will, there’s a way. Let’s just say that with wrestling and how unpredictable wrestling is, you just never know.”
Right now, Sasha Banks is on a hiatus from the ring. She walked out of WWE earlier this year alongside Naomi, due to poor treatment and booking of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Neither Banks or Naomi have made a return yet, with it still unclear if they’ve actually rejoined the company.
Meanwhile, Jade Cargill is set to go one on one with former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose at AEW Full Gear with the TBS Championship on the line. Rose has stolen the belt over the past few weeks, mocking the champion and earning a title shot in the process.
Styles Make Fights
If Banks & Cargill ever crossed paths, it’d be hard to not see that match working. Cargill is a classic powerhouse of a wrestler, while Banks works a more fast paced and technical style. Styles make fights in professional wrestling, and they’d compliment each other well – which is likely a major reason why people want to see this match happen.
It seems unlikely that Sasha Banks would join the AEW roster, with a WWE return very likely following recent changes in management. However much like Cargill said, anything is possible – especially with WWE allowing Shinsuke Nakamura to work a Pro Wrestling NOAH date in 2023.
