The Duke of Sussex threw his eggs into one basket when he made the decision to leave the firm in 2020. And as part of that process, he has formed a new life in Montecito, California, with his two children: Archie and Lilibet.
But that process has been accompanied by several damning interviews against the firm, notably on Oprah and with ‘The Cut,’ which has damaged family relations even further. Therefore, it is in Harry’s interest to not rock the boat with Meghan in case he ends up in further turmoil.
A report by Closer UK goes on to state the following: “[Harry is] happy in his new life with Meghan, he does sometimes wonder what would happen if it all went wrong and that terrifies him.
“A split would be unbearable agony.” The marriage is more important than ever, as shown by the firm’s approach towards the couple.
King Charles III made it absolutely clear in his first speech to the nation that he wished the couple the best with their lives ‘overseas.’ In addition, there could be severe consequences when it comes to finances if things should end in a divorce.
Lastly, in any event, there would naturally be parallels drawn between Prince William and Kate Middleton’s marriage if things broke down. That is why Harry is apparently trying to mimic what they have achieved.
