Denise Richard cruised the streets of Los Angeles in her Ford F-150 Shelby truck and did not have any idea of what is going to happen next. The situation took a sudden turn and escalated from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds. The former Bond’s girl drove in the passenger seat with her husband Aaron Phypers behind the wheel. All of a sudden someone directed shots from an automatic weapon toward their truck.
The former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, took part in a road rage incident that evolved into a gunfire confrontation. Denise Richards and her husband found themselves in a life-threatening situation when an enraged driver took a gun and started firing toward their vehicle.
Denise Richards Survives A Road Rage Shooting Incident In Los Angeles
The beautiful actress and the newbie OnlyFans model, Denise Richards was on her way to Popsicle Studio LA in South Los Angeles, as TMZ reports. At the end of the lengthy trip, Denise Richard’s husband had difficulty locating the studio and slowed down and stopped in the middle of the road.
This action was met by the loud and consistent sound of the horns from the vehicle driving behind them. The driver, irritated by the constant stopping and blocking of the road tried ‘squeezing’ in but unfortunately couldn’t fit to pass. That’s when he opened the window of the car and started shouting at the couple. Aaron Phypers eventually let him pass and the brawl was over. At least this is what they thought.
At that point, another driver, driving just behind the vehicle that Denise Richard’s husband let go, opened his window and pulled out an automatic gun. The reason was, Aaron Phyper blocked the road again. When Denise Richards realized what was happening she started screaming and took cover to the opposite side of the vehicle. The enraged driver started firing toward the truck and some of the shots landed on it. He hit the left back side of the truck with one bullet, and another one landed just behind the driver’s door, luckily not causing any damage to Denise Richards or her husband.
The incident ended up without injuries. However, the actress went through a very stressful situation.
According to People Magazine, both Aaron Phyper and Denise Richards did not realize that the bullets hit the vehicle. However, when Aaron stopped the vehicle in the parking area in front of the Popsicle Studio, they saw the bullet holes in the described two places.
“The guy had taken off by then, but when they realized the car was shot, they were really freaked out, and the production secured the scene.” – an insider told People Magazine.
A crew member of the set noticed the bullet holes on the truck and immediately called 911. At the moment there is no information if Denise Richards gave any statement to the police. There is no information on when did the police arrive at the place. However, according to the LAPD, at the moment the situation is under investigation and they will come out with more information once they investigate thoroughly.
“The production company made her feel safe but they didn’t file a police report. They think now that people were after the car itself because it’s worth a lot of money.” – the insider added.
Following the incident, the production company crew helped Denise Richards to calm down. When she felt better and able to shoot, she started her set and spent the whole day filming.
Currently, the actress is working on the upcoming action movie “Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace”. Denise Richards works alongside Josh Burdett, Arifin Putra, Korrina Rico, and Lee Kholafai. The fantasy adventure is dedicated to the Iraq war veterans. It tells a story of how a war veteran receives a calling from a higher power to save the world. He embarks on a mission to stop a fallen angel raise an army of the dead. Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace will air in mid-2023. Denise Richards plays Deborah, a character that is a weapon expert.
