Sarah Ferguson Receives First Christmas Invite For 30 Years As Harry And Meghan Turn Their Noses
This is a major step since it would be the first time she has been asked to do so following her break up from Prince Andrew. It’s been reported that Ferguson will spend time at Sandringham.
Not only that, but there’s a possibility that she may be seen alongside Andrew on Christmas morning, as part of the royal protocol in going to St Mary Magdalene Church.
This is a major step for the following reasons. First of all, it is seen as a slap in the face for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as the royals did allegedly invite them to do the same.
However, it appears as though the Sussexes have turned down the opportunity but that has not stopped the firm from continuing with things as normal.
Secondly, it shows that Andrew is seeking to put his sexual assault saga concerning Virginia Giuffre to one side. Although that is an impossible task, his focus appears to be on Christmas for now.
A source confirmed the following: “Andrew is banned from public life but you can’t ban him from family Christmas. Staff at Sandringham have been tasked with getting Wood Farm ready for the whole York family.”
This also shows a major shift in the way that King Charles III is dealing with the firm. Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, there has been a change in trying to streamline the monarchy.
And in doing so, there has been a focus on trying to unite the firm following Harry and Meghan’s departure in 2020.

“For 30 years she used to have Christmas dinner on her own. But things are being done differently now.”
