After being run out of the arena by Aussie Open, Bishamon would re-focus and get the win over Tetsuya Naito & SANADA – putting them back in the right direction to winning back to back World Tag League tournaments. Tonight, they face familiar foes in the form of Be-Bop Tag Team, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Toru Yano. Hirooki Goto & Tanahashi have met on numerous occasions over their careers – and Bishamon has a 1-0 record in direct tag team action over Tanahashi & Yano.
Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI Know The Tricks Of Toru Yano
Goto & Yano would start this match with some posing in the middle of the ring, with Yano baited into the first attack. Yano would be beaten down with the War Drum, with Tanahashi quickly following. Goto would have a corner pad thrown at him, before Tanahashi took this fight out to the floor – driving Goto into the barricade.
Back in the ring, Tanahashi would continue to work over the knee of Goto, before tagging in Yano. The exposed corner would be used as Goto was driven into it face first. Goto would be able to remain in the fight, running Tanahashi down with a lariat.
YOSHI-HASHI would hit a running chop as he became legal, before a neckbreaker in the middle of the ring for a two count. Tanahashi would trade elbow smashes with YOSHI-HASHI in the middle of the ring, winning out before YOSHI-HASHI switched to a chop. Thrust kick would follow, with Tanahashi blocking into a Dragon Screw Leg Whip.
Hiroshi Tanahashi Gets The High Fly Flow
Yano & Goto would get tags, with Yano being run down with a rolling lariat. Goto would be dropped with a hair pull from Yano, who quickly tagged out to Tanahashi. Yano would hit a Manhattan Drop before catapulting Goto into the exposed corner. Tanahashi tried to follow up with a Slingblade, but was countered.
YOSHI-HASHI would get a two count off a lariat, before Tanahashi caught him with a slingblade. Goto was kept at bay at ringside, as Tanahahsi went up top for High Fly Flow. YOSHI-HASHI was able to get his knees up, and rolled Tanahashi up for a near fall.
Goto would look to set up the Violent Flash, with Tanahashi slipping free and looking for the Dragon Suplex. YOSHI-HASHI would nail a superkick before Violent Flash would land. Shoto would be blocked, with Tanahashi hitting the Twist & Shout. Slingblade would land, before Yano would hit a powerbomb to set up the High Fly Flow victory.
