Prince Harry acknowledged that wearing a Nazi uniform to a costume event in 2005 was a tremendous error on his part.
Prince Harry Slammed For Showing Insincere Remorse After Regretting Wearing Nazi Uniform-‘He Was Having A Blast At The Party’
The Duke of Sussex expressed regret for his behaviour in the “Harry and Meghan” Netflix docuseries. At the age of 20, Harry attended a London bash which was populated by more than 250 people, wearing a military uniform of a Nazi soldier, with a red armband that was decorated with a large swastika.
And that is something that has taunted Harry to this day. In his comments, he said: “It was probably one of the biggest mistakes in my life. I felt so ashamed afterwards.”
Naturally, there was a reaction to try and minimise the damage that had been done. King Charles III, according to The Post, had apparently taken steps to make Harry rehabilitate.
This included suggestions that Harry visited the concentration camp in Auschwitz. Not only that, but Harry had claimed that he did manage to speak with a chief Rabbi in order to clear up any hurt he may have caused.
And on top of that, Harry had the chance to visit a surviour of the Holacuast in Berlin to get some insight into that ordeal first-hand. His following comments confirmed as much: “All I wanted to do was make it right.
“[It had] a profound impact on me.” The response on social media, however, was very damNing. This was on the grounds that they felt Harry only spoke out in order to save face and deflect attention from the fact that he had been exposed.
One person wrote: “He’s ashamed because someone snapped the pic and it went viral, otherwise he was having a blast at the party.”
Now that Harry has addressed this, he will be hoping to bury it once and for all. But the reality is that the damage will remain. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
