A relative of George Floyd offered their backing to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following the release of their Netflix docuseries.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have intensified their conflict with the British Royal Family through their series of harsh criticisms, leaving some to demand they lose their titles.
A member connected to the Floyd family, who remained anonymous, gave the couple their backing: “We will gladly take them if Britain don’t want them.”
Meghan has regularly expressed her opinion on the death of Floyd, who was killed by a police officer who had put his knee on the man’s neck in the year 2020.
After the murder had occurred, the Duchess spoke to the students who were graduating from her Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles.
She highlighted the names of other African Americans who lost their lives at the hands of the police in the United States in recent times. This may explain why the Floyd family has been sympathetic to her struggles.
In some prior comments at the time, Meghan remarked: “George Floyd’s life mattered and Breonna Taylor’s life mattered and Philando Castile’s life mattered and Tamir Rice’s life mattered.”
And by the looks of it, the docuseries is going down well in the United States. Gayle King expressed that it was beneficial that the couple was given the chance to voice their story.
Meanwhile, reporter Holly Williams praised the series as being artfully made and portrayed the couple’s relationship and how the press hurt them.
Nevertheless, not everyone was satisfied with the Sussexes. And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media.
A certain subset of people made it clear that they would be glad to see the back of Harry and Meghan. Meanwhile, others could not understand why the Floyd family put their support behind the couple.
One person wrote: “I don’t understand why George Floyd or his family should suddenly have become cheerleaders for the stars of the Montecito soap opera.
“However as long as they promise to shut them away out of the limelight permanently, please help them to do so urgently.”
