Jonathan Sacerdoti, an expert in royal matters, proposed that the Royal Family may be able to address the claims made by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in some way.
Royal Family May Have To Respond To Harry And Meghan’s Docuseries-Says Royal Expert Jonathan Sacerdoti
Despite the claims made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after stepping away from royal life in 2020, King Charles III and other senior members of the Royal Family have not uttered a word.
Mr. Sacerdoti pointed out that Queen Elizabeth II and Prince William had previously set a model of conduct following the Sussexes’ interview with Oprah Winfrey, and he proposed that the same technique might be used in the future.
In his comments, Jonathan said: “The Royal Family will probably have to respond in some small ways to individual bits like Prince William did back when he said it’s very much ‘not a racist family, and the late Queen issued a brief statement after that big interview.
“They may have something similar or they may just try to carry on going to wait for the next grenade.” The Royal Family has consistently held to the tenet that one should ” never complain, never explain” that was a staple of the late Queen’s rule.
After the Duke and Duchess of Sussex talked to Oprah Winfrey, the Palace published a brief comment indicating that “recollections may vary” in response to assertions that workers did not help them and an anonymous family member questioned about the complexion of their son Archie prior to his birth.
In some comments at the time, a statement remarked: “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.
“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.”
So should the firm retaliate in kind? So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
