This year, royal followers were overjoyed to discover a picture of Prince Harry as a baby, who mirrored his youngest kid, Lilibet, remarkably.
Royal Fans Rave Over The Resemblance Between ‘Baby’ Prince Harry And Lilibet
An Instagram account called @ourroyal_family made a side-by-side comparison of pictures showing Lilibet and Harry, giving people the chance to observe the strong resemblance between the father and daughter.
The photographs showed the two young babies engaging in crawling. Lilibet wore a light-hued cardigan and a bow-decorated headband, while Harry sported a very 1980s one-piece.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Another little Spencer Grandma Diana would be so proud!” It is not surprising, then, that the fans on social media began to notice the parallels too.
A large proportion of people saw Lilibet as taking after her father. And in the process of doing so, the comments were very warm indeed. One person wrote: “The only major difference I see is that Lili’s cheeks are out of control chub, and I love it.”
While another person stated: “They each got a mini-me – Archie looks like baby Megs and Lili like papa! Beautiful reflections of their parents.” Much in the same way, there have been similarities drawn over how Princess Charlotte and Queen Elizabeth II looked.
The comparisons came to the fore during this year’s Christmas carol service led by Kate Middleton where royal fans noticed a resemblance between Charlotte and the former monarch.
In some comments at the time, one observer remarked: “Princess Charlotte’s resemblance to her great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth has always been evident. Right down to her royal wave.”
Resemblances may be important, but the reality is that Harry and Prince William’s kids are going to lead different lives. And with the Sussexes no longer in the firm, the chances of their respective kids mingling with each other is slim.
And that is perhaps a regret that cannot be ignored. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
