The newly minted trio of Edris Enofe, Malik Blade & Odyssey Jones are some of the easier going names in the NXT locker room, but even they have limits. Enofe & Blade suffering some crushing losses has them fed up and looking for a fight, and the condescending treatment from The Schism gave them that fight. Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler & Jagger Reid are a tough trio to beat, and might prove to be an issue for Enofe, Blade & Jones.
The Schism Shows Tag Team Dominance
Gacy would offer to start the match with Blade, going for a back suplex with Blade landing on his feet before being tripped up. Blade would avoid the headlock, before being driven into Schism corner. Enofe & Fowler hit the ring, with Enofe briefly gaining control – before Reid got the tag and hit some heavy strikes.
Enofe would be able to hit a dropkick, before Jones got the tag. Reid would be dropped with a simple body block, before the rolling senton and bodyslam. Blade would leap off the shoulders of Jones into a splash, before Fowler & Gacy would protect their partner – leading into a commercial break.
Back from the break, Fowler had Blade trapped in a tight headlock. Gacy had set it up with a uranage, while Ava Raine would get into the face of Booker T on commentary – just confusing the legend more than anything. He had some battle with her dad back in the day if nothing else.
Reid & Fowler would take a double sidebuster from Jones, before Enofe tried to follow up with a splash. Jones was taken out on the the floor with a series of dives, before Enofe hit the E-Trigger knee to the face. Gacy & Fowler took Enofe & Blade into the shoulders for a double doomsday device – before the Ticket to Mayhem and Upside Down Lariat for the win.
Fallon Henley Battles To Keep The Families Bar
Fallon Henley has fallen on hard times managing her family’s bar, and while Kiana James would help to pay off the overwhelming taxes as a favour – she had deeper reasons. She didn’t want the bar to change owners just yet, as she still has hope of gaining ownership of the land to make way for an apartment complex. Tonight, the deed is on the line as Henley & James battle for the bar. Add in that James has been getting into the head of Brooks Jensen, and Henley can’t even rely on her friends for support here tonight.
James would start with a stiff knee strike to the midsection, before wrenching on the arm. Henley would be able to break free and run James down with a shoulder tackle before a one legged dropkick on the floor. James would lean on the bottom rope, but couldn’t avoid a punch to the face as Henley slipped to the floor.
Back in the ring, James was stomped into the corner, before a slam in the middle of the ring for a two count. Body scissors would be applied, before James would fight free before some big right hands. Henley would would trip James up as she looked for the 401K before the running dropkick for the victory to keep the bar!
Will Kiana James stop looking for the bar in 2023? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
