Prince Harry has expressed his desire to re-establish a relationship with his father, King Charles III and Prince William during an upcoming interview before his memoir is released.
Prince Harry Wants His Family Back-‘It Never Needed To Be This Way’
This interview took place a few weeks after the airing of the Netflix documentary titled “Harry & Meghan” in December.
The documentary, made by Liz Garbus, featured footage taken by the couple and their personal stories, involving the conflict with the palace, William allegedly yelling at Harry, and the legal battle with the Mail on Sunday, which the couple believe led to a miscarriage.
With that being said, according to promotional material of the book, Harry will open up for the first time regarding his experience walking in his mother’s funeral procession and his service in the military in Afghanistan.

In addition, Harry will reveal details about his and Meghan Markle’s home life. As such, through a compilation of video with no questions heard during the segment, Harry expresses that “never needed to be this way“ and mentions “the leaking and the planting” before announcing that “he wants a family, not an institution.”
Harry also goes on to state that “they feel as though it is better to keep us somehow as the villains, I would like to get my father back. I would like to get my brother back.”
Meanwhile, in another discussion, which will be televised in the United States, Harry disclosed to the 60 Minutes program held by Anderson Cooper on CBS News that being quiet about the supposed neglect of Buckingham Palace to shield him and the Duchess of Sussex before they left their roles as senior royals constituted betrayal.
In his comments, Harry remarked: “The family motto is ‘never complain, never explain’, but it’s just a motto…So when we’re being told for the past six years, ‘we can’t put a statement out to protect you’, but you do it for other members of the family, there becomes a point when silence is betrayal.”
