
According to the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry’s upcoming book Spare, he had an altercation with King Charles III when the latter declared that Meghan Markle should not be permitted to accompany him to Balmoral Castle on the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

Harry reportedly spoke up and asserted, “Don’t ever speak about my wife that way.” When Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, were in London and Queen Elizabeth’s health started to decline at her Scottish residence, the other senior members of the Royal Family were seen preparing to quickly move to Balmoral.
Kate Middleton stayed back with her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, and Prince William flew in with Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, and Edward’s wife Sophie Wessex, who was very much cherished by the Queen.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had planned on attending the WellChild Awards ceremony that evening, in London, but instead decided to take a trip to visit the Queen.
Harry asserted that during this time frame, he was given explicit orders from the then-Prince Charles to not take Meghan with him.
He traveled alone on a private jet to Scotland and got to Balmoral not long after the Queen’s demise was revealed to the public. A source confirmed the following: “Charles told Harry that it wasn’t right or appropriate for Meghan to be in Balmoral at such a deeply sad time.
“It was pointed out to him that Kate was not going and that the numbers really should be limited to the very closest family.” The fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter.
A certain subset of people were of the view that Charles did the right thing since Meghan’s presence may have caused a lot of tension.
One person wrote: “King Charles is a strong leader. He definitely made the right decision. It must be so disappointing for him to have a son who treats him and his family so badly.”
