It is a highly-rated childcare facility offering free education to kids between the ages of 2 and 5. During her visit, she chatted with the teachers about the significance of the early years, a main focus of her royal work.
She also posed for photos with the parents who were there to pick up their children, even taking two selfies with them. In the video here, we can see that Kate is taking selfies with the crowd as she exits the building.
She has a massive smile on her face and could not be any happier, while she holds a bouquet of flowers in her hand. Historically, the royals have abstained from taking pictures with their admirers while attending public gatherings.
The official website of the Royal Family states that there is not any particular protocol for saluting members of the monarchy. While it gives instructions on how to bow and curtsy, there is no mention of taking selfies.
However, it would appear that that attitude has been more lenient in recent times. Both Kate and Prince William, willingly posed for selfies with about twenty people at the opening of Royal Liverpool University Hospital, including hospital personnel, volunteers, and guests.
Amber Otto, one of those people, at the time had this to say: “They were so welcoming. They were so warm and friendly. Even when they were being rushed out, they made sure they made time for everybody.
“The Princess asked me what I did. They were talking to as many people as possible.” But if this leads to the firm becoming more popular, then it is safe to say that they will not mind too much.
