According to a royal expert, Prince William and Kate Middleton have a plan for how their daughter Princess Charlotte will fit into the Royal Family’s structure as the ‘Spare’.

Prince Harry has been vocal about this when he discussed the issue with his brother Prince William, according to an interview with The Telegraph, with the latter apparently emphasising that his own children were not the Duke of Sussex’s responsibility.
Nevertheless, Katie Nicholl is convinced that the couple have it all figured out regarding Charlotte’s function in the monarchy. In her comments, she said: “George, Charlotte and Louis are enjoying a childhood Harry and William didn’t get to enjoy.
“I think that is why William and Kate are channeling everything they can into raising their children with an understanding of who they are as royals but as ordinary children too.”
In the recent interview, the Duke of Sussex expressed his apprehensions for his niece and nephew, Charlotte and Prince Louis. He stated his hope that his efforts to make his own struggles known would benefit the younger generation.
Prince George, William and Kate’s eldest child, is second in line to the throne, while Charlotte and Louis are the third and fourth in line, respectively. And that is something Harry was worried about.
In his comments at the time, he remarked: “I still feel a responsibility. Out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare. And that hurts, that worries me.”
The response on social media, however, was far from sympathetic towards Harry. A significant proportion of people were of the view that Charlotte would not follow the same path as Harry due to William and Kate’s parenting.
