A TV presenter, Sam Dowler, suggested that if Meghan Markle had not tied the knot with Prince Harry, she would not have been in the conversation to even attend Oprah’s birthday celebration.
Meghan Would Never Even Be On Oprah Winfrey’s Mind If She Didn’t Marry Harry-‘She Was A Two-Bit Actress,’ Says Sam Dowler
The Sussexes were absent from Oprah’s 69th birthday party, which raised speculation that the talk show host may have shunned them. This was on the basis that Harry did backtrack on claims that the firm had been racist.
This is despite the fact that the Sussexes had stated that someone in the firm had reservations over Archie’s skin colour in their Oprah interview, which Harry then clarified stating it was ‘unconscious bias.’
But since the party had other big names such as Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez, coupled with the fact that Harry and Meghan were at Ellen DeGeneres’ event to renew her vows, it has left people with a lot to say about Meghan.
In his comments, Sam said: “Obviously, had Meghan not married Harry she wouldn’t have even had a chance of going to such a party anyways.
“You know, because she was a two-bit actress. Part of me wishes to have been a fly on the wall when she saw the pictures in the morning.”
Dowler suggested that the possibility of the Sussexes being at King Charles III’s coronation could have been a factor in Oprah’s choice of who to invite.
According to reports, Prince William is apprehensive that Meghan and Harry could do something unexpected during the coronation ceremony and possibly distract from the occasion. Therefore, he is not keen for them to be present.
Nevertheless, it has been expressed that King Charles III has requested assistance from the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby to work out an agreement with the Sussexes on their attendance.
There is still time for the Sussexes to attend the Coronation, but if it does happen, on what terms will it be? So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
