With his brother Matt officially a part of the All Elite Wrestling roster, it is time for WWE to move on from the Hardy Boys reunion they have been working with since their return. Jeff Hardy has used a remixed version of their classic tag team theme even when apart from Matt Hardy. On an episode of The Bump, Jeff Hardy made sure fans know what he is finally getting his now iconic theme ‘No More Words’ back.
Jeff Hardy Had This Theme When He Was A Main Event Star
With this uncanny charisma and fantastic in ring abilities, it was only a matter of time before Jeff Hardy would be a proper star within WWE. This came in the late 2000’s when he would become WWE & later World Heavyweight Champion, feuding with established stars like Triple H & Edge, and rising stars like CM Punk. Because of this, No More Words holds a very special in the hearts of both fans and Jeff himself. He has previously stated that having this theme back would serve as motivation to be his best version in 2020.
Could He Get Another Top Level Run?
While the miles are starting to beat down on Jeff Hardy, and he can’t move like he used too, he remains one of the most popular wrestlers in any company he joins. Fans are simply drawn to him, and that is something WWE can’t afford to waste now that he is solo again. With the Smackdown brand lacks major stars, it is the perfect time to put Jeff Hardy in the mix with top names like Roman Reigns and The Fiend. From the same phone interview where he confirmed the theme is coming back, he mentioned The Fiend as a dream match for himself. A man who ignores fear vs. a man who uses fear to get the edge on his opponents is the perfect clash of styles. His exact quote was “”I have all these crazy ideas that can move forward into this abstract world between the two of us, and seeing ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt is definitely a huge dream match of mine.”
