Harry And Meghan Have Become A Laughing Stock Following South Park Parody Episode-‘Less Like Power-Players, More Like A Punchline,’ Says Daniela Elser
That is according to royal expert Daniela Elser. Her comments arrived in response to the hit show South Park.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s South Park became the most recent program to comment on the whole Harry and Meghan situation following their exit from the Royal Family in 2020.
A preview to the episode dubbed, “The Worldwide Privacy Tour,” has been released, with the focus being on the characters’ quest for privacy in a ‘small mountain town.”
In the video, Kylie is seen not happy with his current situation. He can be heard saying the following: “It seriously is driving me crazy. I’m sick of hearing about them but I can’t get away from them.
“They’re everywhere. In my f*****g face,” while Stan replied: “Look, Kyle, we just kind of don’t care about some dumb prince and his stupid wife.”
That did not go down very well with Daniela for the following reasons. First of all, it demonstrated that even in the US, the couple are beginning to lose their popularity.
Secondly, it was also seen as a dig at the fact that Harry’s memoir, Spare, has hardly been concerned about privacy. After all, the Duke of Sussex even recounted the circumstances in which he lost his virginity.
And this has all backfired on the Sussexes. Daniela’s following comments confirmed as much: “Mark your diaries, note down the date, jot this in the history books.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have literally become a laughing stock. The Sussexes’ are starting to look less like power-players and much more like a punchline.”
The Sussexes clearly need to rebrand. And there is getting away from that moving forward, as their popularity continues to plummet.
