According to reports, Prince William and Kate Middleton are teaching their daughter Princess Charlotte the importance of having a job, since she won’t be participating in the same type of official duties as her older brother Prince George.
William And Kate Are Raising Charlotte To ‘Not Be An Active Member Of The Firm,’ Says Richard Eden
The road ahead for the young Princess is in accordance with King Charles III’s ideas for a reduced Royal Family. It is alleged that William has the same opinion as Charles of a slimmed-down monarchy.
Richard Eden, who happens to be a royal expert, had this to say: “From what I hear, the Prince and Princess of Wales want Charlotte, aged seven, to grow up with the expectation that she will get a job and not be a full-time royal.
“If Charlotte is to get a job and not be an active member of “The Firm”, she needs to be ready to step into the breach, if needed.”
Much in the same way, Prince Harry published his memoir in which he recalled his experiences of being born as the second son to Prince William, who was the eldest and thus the designated heir.
Therefore, the Duke of Sussex was the Spare, with suggestions that Charlotte could follow the same path. And this is something that Harry knew from a young age, when it came to himself.
In his book, he remarked: “I was brought into this world in case something happened to Willy.” The social media response, though, differed.
A certain subset of people felt it was a wise move for Charlotte to follow in the same way as George, as it would prevent another falling out like William and Harry.
One person wrote: “William and Catherine should let Charlotte be raised and take the same lessons as George on…his future job.”
