King Charles III will not have the time to meet with Prince Harry during the monarch’s inauguration ceremony.
King Charles III ‘Won’t Have Time’ To Sit Down With Harry At The Coronation-Says Tom Sykes
That is according to royal expert Tom Sykes. According to reports, strategies are being developed to make sure that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, do not take away the attention if they are present.
There are concerns that if the couple were to attend, then it could put Prince William in a negative light if the Sussexes use the event for their own ends.
However, during his interview on ITV with Tom Bradby, Harry made it clear that he wanted to engage in a dialogue about the current schism in the family. And yet, it seems that this may not be possible.
In his comments, Sykes said: “Charles adores Harry and wants him to be there. But he has a coronation to organize. He simply won’t have the time to organize a special meeting with Harry.”
This begs the question: Is it worth having the Sussexes there? Well, outside of an alternative explanation to the contrary, it could be due beneficial for the following reasons.
First of all, by not having the couple there, they could use this as a way to fire back at the firm for not treating them well. Secondly, Charles needs less controversy after having already been subjected to two egg-throwing incidents.
Regardless of what the case may be, the fans on social media made their position very clear. And in the process of doing so, people felt that the Sussexes had done too much damage.
One person wrote: “After Harry’s behavior I would think it will be years before William will speak to him again and I don’t blame him. Harry adds no value to the Royal family why is there this need to have any kind of summit.”
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
