‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with a fresh set of spoilery goodies to share.
There’s a few life altering storylines happening in Genoa City, and one of the biggest has Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) tied into knots over the possibilities of who her baby’s father will be.
In a fun twist of pitting brother against brother, Sally’s caught in the middle as she’s about to learn who the father is, and it’s going to send her into some deep deliberation about the possibilities. Let’s take a peek at what we could expect.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, February 21: Nick’s the chosen one
If she has her way, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be her baby’s father and things will continue on as if there’s never been an issue.
Nick has proven to be a great father and person in general, and he can offer a balanced approach to life where the child won’t have to worry about any revenge schemes going wrong or sideways.
The main issue with Nick is he can’t bring himself to fully cut off Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) no matter what he does, and the child will be pulled into Victor’s sphere of influence in some way.
While it’ll be good in that Victor will see that the child is always protected, Nick will have to draw the line to keep Victor’s manipulations away and that could lead to some family angst.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, February 21: Adam will be in the mix
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the epitome of Victor’s manipulations going sideways as he’s always on the look out for one of Victor’s schemes and to overthrow him or Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
While he’s admitted that he’s through trying to prove his worth to Victor, it doesn’t mean he won’t put himself into a position where that’ll blow up in his face for the millionth time.
This is something Sally understands as she’s dealt with plenty of those situations during her time in Los Angeles, and that led to them understanding each other and their passions ran high.
But she’s moved beyond that and has stayed true to her desire to change her ways and carve a new path and while Adam will be a great father and stand by her, his influence could be the very thing that sinks her.
