It is reported that Meghan Markle is feeling overwhelmed due to the massive amount of criticism the Sussexes have gotten over their personal revelations, causing people to speculate if they will show up for King Charles III’s coronation.
Meghan Markle Is Upset By The Recent Criticism-Says Kinsey Schofield
That is according to royal expert Kinsey Schofield. According to reports, Charles has invited the couple to attend, but they have yet to confirm whether or not they will.
Things have complicated since the Coronation is on the same day as their son, Archie’s 4th birthday. While that may be the case, it appears that the backlash towards the Sussexes is causing issues, particularly following the airing of the South Park parody episode.
In her comments, Kinsey said: “Meghan is upset and overwhelmed. It’s not that Meghan feels excluded with the planning.
“Meghan feels like the palace is only fighting for Prince Harry to attend and they don’t care whether she shows up or not. And that does not sit well with her.”
Previous visits have shown that Meghan may have some cause for concern. During the couple’s visit for the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, they were booed when they exited the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral.
And after Harry’s memoir, which was scathing towards members of the firm, including accusing his brother Prince William of assaulting him, the pair could be in the crossfire once again.
Kinsey’s following comments confirmed as much: “Rejection is one of Meghan’s greatest insecurities.
“She does not want to be booed or humiliated on a global scale, yet she understands that her brand stateside increases in value with her proximity to the royal family.”
The response on social media was much the same. A large number of people made it clear that they expected the pair to receive a hostile response.
One person wrote: “I can’t imagine Harry and Meghan getting a warm welcome in the UK by a lot of people.” So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
