One of the bigger surprises over the past year of WWE has been the involvement of social media megastars Jake & Logan Paul. Jake Paul in particular has wrestled at WrestleMania, Summerslam, and even entered the main event of Crown Jewel 2022 where he faced Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Jake Paul would get involved in the build for this match – and helped to fight off Jimmy & Jey Uso. While some like Seth Rollins scoffs at their involvement in WWE – Ric Flair feels they’re better than some full time wrestlers.
Ric Flair Thinks Jake Paul & Logan Paul Are Better Than Some Full Time Wrestlers
During the To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair would praise both Jake & Logan Paul, especially after learning that Logan has been training with WWE legend Shawn Michaels. He’d have the following to say about the social media megastar brothers and their potential within WWE when asked about Jake Paul potentially getting in the ring next.
“Oh, hell yeah. He’s great. Both of those kids are better than some of the guys that do it full-time for a living. I’ll stand by that comment all day long. Until you told me last week that Shawn was training Logan, which now makes sense, I thought, ‘God, the guy’s just got incredible, natural ability. I think they’re big and they draw money. That’s all there is to it. Draw money.”
To be praised by someone like Ric Flair just a few matches into a career speaks volumes of the potential both have. They have proven to be athletes, and Logan Paul has become one of the more hyped members of the WWE roster since signing his contract – being a true special attraction.
Jake Paul Has Not Made His In-Ring Debut For WWE Yet
Right now, Logan Paul is set to have his second WrestleMania match – scheduled to face Seth Rollins in April. This feud was kicked off at the Royal Rumble, where Logan was the man to eliminate Rollins from the match. Logan would also cost Rollins the United States Championship at Elimination Chamber – truly getting into the mind of Rollins in the process.
Jake Paul has yet to wrestle a match in WWE – and is more focused on boxing. He recently lost his first fight – now having a 6-1 record. It was Tommy Fury who took Jake down, the brother of Tyson Fury. Due to his commitments with boxing, Jake is unlikely to make his in-ring debut for WWE anytime soon – as an injury would cost him potentially millions of dollars.
