Prince Harry has declared that he has never felt like a total part of the Royal Family and believes that his beloved mother, Princess Diana, experienced the same feeling.
Prince Harry Did Everything To Protect His Family, Didn’t Feel Part Of The Firm-‘I Feel A Huge Responsibility’
During a conversation with psychotherapist Dr. Gabor Maté, Harry revealed that he now showers his children with affection, something he felt he did not get from his father, King Charles III.
In his contentious autobiography Spare, Harry recounted the time his dad notified him of Diana’s demise, asserting he was apprised of it bluntly and without an embrace when he was merely 12 years old.
He also stated that if he did not embrace his kids, Archie and Lilibet, it would have a comparable repercussion on them. In his comments, he said: “I feel a huge responsibility not to pass on any trauma or negative experiences that I’ve had as a kid or as a man growing up.
“There are times when I catch myself when I should be smothering them with that love but I might not be.”
The Duke stated that he and Meghan Markle made a commitment to not quarrel when their children are present, implying that he had been exposed to parental disputes during his own upbringing.
This was significant since Gabe had diagnosed Harry with attention deficit disorder. The term is utilized to describe individuals who have trouble focusing on tasks without exhibiting signs of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which include impulsive behavior or excessive activity.
He added: “I felt slightly different to the rest of my family. I felt strange being in this container, and I know that my mum felt the same so it makes sense to me.”
It is clear that Harry has been through a lot which may explain his verbal disclosures, but on reflection, it is doing him more than good.
