Prince Harry’s therapy session with Dr Gabor Maté does not clarify the reasons behind his public actions that are causing harm to the Royal Family.
Prince Harry’s Therapy Session With Dr Gabor Maté Didn’t Explain ‘Why He Is So Destructive,’ Says Richard Fitzwilliams
That is according to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams. During their discussion, Harry and Dr. Maté delved into a range of topics including Harry’s past drug use and his upbringing.
Harry expressed that he did not view himself as a “victim” and did not desire “sympathy”. Dr. Maté promptly diagnosed him with ADD, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
However, no clarification was given regarding Harry’s inclination to display “destructive” behavior towards other members of the royal family in public.
In his comments, Richard said: “What was not explained is why he is so destructive when it comes to discussing his family in public, yet claims his memoir is ‘an act of service.”
The Duke did not make any direct personal attacks and spoke only in general terms about his family. Before, Harry has criticized and expressed anger towards other individuals who belonged to the Royal Family.
This was seen in his memoir, Spare, where he accused his brother, Prince William, of assaulting him. Not only that, but he also stated that William had shouted and screamed at him during a meeting about Megxit.
Richards added: “It showed Harry as more cautious, there was plenty of background about the royals who don’t hug, that Harry was different and there was a mention of his ‘broken home’, but no personal attacks on senior royals which was a relief.”
The response on social media was firmly against the Duke. A certain subset were worried about the perception Harry was giving since it showed that he may have had more demons to deal with.
One person wrote: “Therapy can be used as justification for all your own faults. That’s how Harry uses it.” So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
