WWE Smackdown Results returned as Sami Zayn admitted he doesn’t care anymore and is willing to take whatever is coming his way due to his decisions.
Xavier Woods vs. LA Knight
Woods stayed one step ahead of Knight in the early going with a drop kick and a power slam for a couple of pin attempts.
Knight turned it around and hit a front slam for his own pin attempt, but Woods countered his next attempt with a Back Woods for yet another super fast match.
Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus
GUNTHER came out to watch the match from ringside as the pair looked to settle things and face GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship.

The match started as physical as we’d expect with some heavy blows before Sheamus hit a clothesline for a pin attempt.
After continuing to trade heavy blows, Drew ran into a big boot, and then caught Sheamus on the top rope to hit a superplex.
Drew fought off a ten beats attempt and went for a Claymore, but Sheamus hit a knee for a near pinfall.
They traded rights from their knees before getting to their feet and exchanging clubbing blows.
A Glasgow Kiss was followed by a high knee that left both men in opposite corners trying to gather themselves.
They traded a Brogue Kick and Claymore to knock each other out, and GUNTHER stopped the ref from counting when he reached 8 and then verbally challenged both of them to rise up to challenge him while Imperium attacked them from behind.
GUNTHER took out Drew and Sheamus after they cleared the ring and power bombed Sheamus onto Drew before he left the ring.
Adam Pearce appeared on the titantron and he made it a triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania.
Owens comes to Zayn’s rescue
Jey was in the ring when Zayn came out and asked him how does he want to do this.
Jey told him he has a job to do tonight, but he had to tell Zayn that from day one he didn’t like him or trust him. But everyone liked him, and the one time he let his guard down he betrayed Jey.
Zayn embarrassed him and made him look stupid and he called Zayn a fake a—Uce and didn’t have a choice.

Zayn told him he had a choice but he chose to take Reigns’ abuse and Zayn chose not to take it. He called Jey out for being mad at himself for not hitting Reigns with the chair first.
Jey took a shot at him and Zayn fought back, but when he got Jey down Jimmy attacked him and Jey hit a superkick.
Jimmy then threw Zayn into the ring steps Jey held, and as they beat him down some more Kevin Owens came out and slipped into the ring behind the Usos and sent Jimmy to the floor with a clothesline and then hammered away on Jey and hit a pop up power bomb.
Once Owens and Zayn were left in the ring, they hugged it out per the fans’ chant and Cody watched from backstage with a tear in his eye.
This episode felt off as it went from super rushed in the ring to a solid match that was cut short, but it ended well after the forced segment to open the show.
