Last week on AEW Dynamite, we would see the return of Dark Order original Stu Grayson. Now signed to a new contract, he enters his first singles match in AEW history – as his partner Evil Uno is out with a concussion.

Jon Moxley is the man responsible for this injury – not his first time leaving someone affiliated with Dark Order out with a concussion. However, Uno was the man who controlled Grayson, who held his leash – and tonight, we get to see what Grayson does when truly unleashed.

Jon Moxley Once Again Is The Dark Order Slayer

Grayson would drive Moxley into the corner with a spear before some rabid strikes. Moxley fought back with some chops, before choking Grayson in the corner.

He’d try to force the pinfall in the middle of the ring, before being sent to the floor. Grayson would throw a chair at Moxley before getting back into the ring, hitting a hurricarana.

Moxley would have Grayson scouted, preventing a leap over in the corner before hitting a German Suplex. Grayson was sent to the apron – and driven off into the unforgiving steel of the barricade.

Texas Cloverleaf would be applied in the ring, with Grayson able to find the bottom rope.

Grayson sent Moxley off the ropes and nailed a dropkick, before being whipped into the corner for a lariat. Moxley would launch Grayson with an X-Plex, before the Gotch Style Piledriver.

Grayson would manage to kick out, and nailed Destino. Moxley would be laid out with the Uranage before the springboard twisting senton for a two count.

Grayson would take out Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta on the floor with a moonsault before a 450 Splash on Moxley for a two count.

Nightfall would be countered into the Bulldog Choke – with Grayson standing and refusing to be choked out by Moxley, instead driving Moxley into the corner with a Backpack Cannonball. Pele Kick would set Moxley up, but Grayson was caught on the top rope with an Avalanche Death Rider for the win.

Skye Blue Holds Her Own Against Toni Storm

The Outcasts might be one of the more notable trios in the AEW women’s division, but they have gained a lot of enemies in a short time.

Last week, they were run from the ring by Riho, Skye Blue, Willow Nightingale, Britt Baker, and AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter. Tonight Toni Storm has a chance at revenge – as she goes one on one with the always improving Skye Blue.

Storm would rush Blue as the bell began, beating her into the corner. Blue would manage a back elbow smash before a dropkick, sending Storm to the floor.

Storm would be caught with a diving hurricanrana off the apron – Blue keeping the pressure on. Blue went to the top rope with a crossbody in mind, but Storm took her down to the floor.

Storm would distract the referee as Ruby Soho & Saraya got some stomps in – before a stiff knife edge chop on the ring post. Blue would duck a second chop, before taking down Soho with an elbow smash.

Storm regained control, hitting a snap suplex on the floor. Back in the ring, Blue was put in a Full Nelson on the mat – Storm whipping Blue about.

Blue would refuse to quit, and took a set of Snap Suplexes. She’d come back with some hair pulls, realising fighting clean is not going to work tonight.

A diving crossbody would land for a two count, before Blue hit the Blue Justice Knee on the ropes. Code Blue would be avoided, with Storm hitting the Swing DDT for the near fall.

Hip attack was blocked and Blue hit he Code Blue – with Soho running the distraction. Storm hit the Hip Attack, German Suplex and Storm Zero – and this one was over.
