‘The Young and the Restles’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick off another episode with plenty of arguments and battle lines being drawn.
There’s plenty of interesting moments coming our way and there are so many directions things could go and we’re looking forward to the journey.
Without further ado, let’s dive into some spoilery goodies!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, April 21: Cutting to the chase
It’s refreshing to see an important moment not being relegated to a brief exchange or off screen dealings as Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) sits down with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).
He’s risking everything personally and professionally to help Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) not just as a friend, but because the evidence doesn’t line up like it’s supposed to.
It’s too perfect and everyone’s reactions, especially those of Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), have left him questioning the validity of the charges.
Christine will probably agree with him on many points, but she’ll be bound to follow the evidence since that’s her job and disproving it is his.
To that end, he won’t be able to get the charges dropped yet, but he should be able to get her bail.
Even if he doesn’t, the fact he’s representing her could cost him his paycheck from Victor Newman (Eric Braden), who’s in a fouler mood than usual at the moment, and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman).
The fact he’s risking all of that should make some think about their convictions, but that could be asking a bit much for that to happen.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, April 21: Already butting heads
This is a feud that’s been brewing for several years, and “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers doubt it’ll calm down not that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)’s boss.
There’s every chance this will be an amicable relationship at some point, but right now “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect them to clash over their differing views.
In Kyle’s defense, he’s been with Jabot and knows the inner workings up to the current minute, so Billy’s ideas, while not bad, may not mesh with what Kyle thinks will work.
And with the added strain Kyle’s under, things are going to become pretty heated pretty quickly and cause more stress for Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Sadly, we expect Billy to get the brunt of the blame since he’s the newer newcomer and his history, so we doubt things will settle anytime soon.
Will Michael convince Christine to not oppose bail for Diane or even drop the charges? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
