Ah, nothing like orders and backstabbing intrigue to make things interesting in Genoa City, and ‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are curious what the end results will be.
Of course, we say this with a grain of salt since we know Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) always gets his way. He pays the writers too handsomely to let him fail.
Nothing like some fourth wall humor, right? Anyway, let’s dive into some fun spoilery goodies and see what’s coming our way.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, April 25: Be the bigger man cause daddy says so
Once again, Victor will show that he’s blind, deaf, and dumb when it comes to his children or wise advice Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) gives him as he’ll take things up a notch in his plan for a “harmonious” family.
We think he’s going to order Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to dump Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) so Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) can have her and his child and be happy.
In Victor’s twisted thinking, that never involves the legitimate points of view of others or even the facts if he disagrees, Nick is trying to hurt Adam when that’s not even close to the truth.
And we doubt Nick will take Victor’s order seriously enough to even consider it, but serious enough to question the old man’s sanity.
This will lead to yet another fight between the two and Victor will continue to not understand how his children refuse to accept his malevolent manipulations to make him happy and fit his view of how the world should work.
Maybe this time the storyline will get stuck in the rinse cycle and Nick will finally tell Victor where to stick it and hold to that.
But that would make sense and show some character growth, and those are two things we haven’t seen involved with Victor in years.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, April 25: Moving… in?
It looks like Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is going to have her own plan to cause some chaos in the Abbott mansion and push Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) even harder to see things her way or to vacate, and she’s going to use Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to do it.
Of course, it’s possible that Tucker’s right and she’s grown to care for him, and by selling McCall Unlimited to Victor it proved what he’s been telling her about it not mattering.
It’ll be an interesting development when he tells her that he’s leaving Genoa City since there’s nothing there for him now, and Ashley will respond that he could move in with her.
As we mentioned above, we expect that’ll be into the Abbott mansion and there’s bound to be multiple reasons behind this. Looks like she’s learned from Victor well.
