Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Results! Tonight should be a fun one as Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar will be in the same arena prior to their match at Night of Champions, and there are some good looking matches on tap.
Without further ado, let’s get to the action!
Cody wanted a fight
The show opened with them showing Cody Rhodes arriving and Brock Lesnar ambushing him backstage and tossing him around and through some empty beer kegs before he bounced Cody off a garage door while asking him if he wants to fight.

Lesnar then crushed his left hand against the garage door with a keg.
Back in the arena, Paul Heyman was in the ring and he said that for the record he had nothing to do with that attack, and it’s only a hint at what Cody’s in for when he faces Lesnar.
He then predicted Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will lose the tag titles back to the Bloodline while the Usos watch comfortably from home.
He closed it out by welcoming everyone to Monday Night Raw and Owens and Zayn came out.
Heyman took off, and once they were in the ring Zayn said they’re feeling pretty good despite what happened on Smackdown. This is personal for Zayn and he has nothing else to say since he said everything to Reigns’ face.

Owens had something to say, and Reigns dedicating his win to the Wild Samoans gave him the inspiration to dedicate their win to the real pillars of the Bloodline — Jimmy and Jey Uso.
As they mentioned they have business with Imperium tonight, Imperium came out to circle the ring and Riddle ran out to even the odds and back Imperium down for the moment.
After walking away, Imperium ran back into the ring, and after his cohorts were sent to the floor, GUNTHER ate a knee by Riddle and was dumped over the ropes by Zayn and Owens.
Backstage, Adam Pearce was asked about reports that Cody has a broken arm, but he claimed not to have any news.
Ricochet vs. Bronson Reed
Ricochet tried to stay away from Reed early on and chop him down with kicks and quick strikes, then a dropkick to Reed’s left knee.
He slipped out of a power slam and kept after Reed’s knee with kicks and another dropkick to Reed’s left knee, but Reed responded with a body press, elbow drop, and a steam roller off the ropes.

Reed kept mauling Ricochet, but he popped up and increased his energy to work on Reed’s knee and hit a knee and a pair of superkicks for a pin attempt Reed threw him off after one.
After being knocked to the floor, Ricochet caught Reed off the apron with a knee, but Reed knocked him off the ropes and hit a powerslam and a Tsunami for the win.
