Since making his debut in 2020, the son of Rey Mysterio has developed in real time in front of fans of WWE. Dominik Mysterio has risen to that challenge, and since joining up with Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley & Damien Priest – he’s come into his own as a wrestler.
Already having won his first championship alongside his father, Mysterio is no stranger to holding gold – and Ripley thinks his time could be coming soon.
Rhea Ripley Believes Judgement Day Will Be Draped In Gold Soon
During an interview with The Battleground podcast, the Smackdown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley would give good odds of Dominik Mysterio holding gold again soon in WWE.
“Yeah, he’s definitely getting a massive reaction from the WWE Universe and it’s quite entertaining. Every week it seems to get louder and louder. So, in no time, seeing how far he’s grown in the last six months, seeing his confidence completely grow and just blossom into the Superstar that you see today, he’s definitely going to have some Championship gold around his waist sometime soon. I believe it. He believes it, and so do Finn and Damian.”
Three Possible Championships For Mysterio To Chase
Mysterio was recently drafted to Monday Night RAW alongside the rest of Judgement Day. He’s been eyeing the WWE Intercontinental Championship, currently held by GUNTHER.
Given the dominance of GUNTHER, Mysterio is being more realistic and hopes to steal the belt in a Triple Threat style of match to become a champion.
In addition to this, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is feuding with The Judgement Day, defending his belt against Damien Priest tonight.
There is a chance that Mysterio will look for a title shot after this, before Finn Balor meets Rollins at the Money in the Bank PPV in the UK.
