WWE WrestleMania 36 Night 2 is upon us, the Kickoff Show has commenced and we now have our first match of the second half of the show starting up. We will see Liv Morgan take on Natalya.
Liv Morgan vs. Natalya
Liv offers a hand, Nattie takes it but then pulls her into a side headlock takedown. Liv rolls into a pin for 2. Headscissors locked in, Natalya kips up out of it. Lock-up, Nattie with a hammerlock into a side headlock into a waistlock, roll up for a 1 count. Natalya applauds Liv for kicking out. Grapple attempt but neither can get control. Natalya offers the hand now and Liv slaps it away. Liv catches a kick, but Natalya turns into a leglock, Liv fights up, escapes, Nattie with a clothesline but Morgan matrix dodges into a roll up for 1. Morgan throws her to the corner, charging hip attack! Whip to the opposite corner, clothesline dodged, Nattie with her rope-springing back suplex lands Liv in a seated position, basement dropkick for a nearfall!
Pulls her up, whip, Morgan escapes to the apron, forearm, Hot Shot. Natalya dodges a shoulder thrust, kicks her right in the face, loud one and Morgan is holding her jaw and whimpering! Discus Clothesline drops Liv, she tumbles to the floor! Natalya pulls her back into the ring, crisp snap suplex! Natalya cinches Liv into the Surfboard, full extension! Liv won’t give up though, Nattie sits her down onto her knees but keeps the hold in. Kicks her away and she lands facefirst. Nattie pushes her into the corner, charges, Liv counters with a roll-up for 2, side headlock, Nattie wants her springing back suplex again but Liv escapes, Codebreaker nailed for a nearfall!
As Natalya tries to pull herself up on the ropes, Liv gets her with a dropkick to the back! Charges again, Nattie catches her, Wheelbarrow Facebuster! Liv keeps selling her nose on these landings. Nearfall. Inside cradle gets 2, Step-Up Enziguri! Nattie avoids the Springing Reverse STO, tries to counter it into a German Suplex but Liv with an O’Connor Roll gets the victory!
Winner: Liv Morgan
Solid stuff. I was gonna say too many roll ups and cradles but considering one of them actually got the victory, I’m cool with that as it meant they were building to one of them actually working.
