The future of WWE is constantly developing right before our eyes. With the NXT brand, there is a constant feed of potential stars hitting shows like Monday Night RAW & Smackdown Live, and the WWE Draft brought some major names into the spotlight.
The likes of JD McDonaugh, Cameron Grimes and Pretty Deadly are making impacts. However, few have had a better start on the main roster than 29 year old Zoey Stark.
Zoey Stark Thrives Under The Pressure Of The Spotlight
While speaking on the Women’s Wrestling Talk podcast, Zoey Stark would be asked about her call up to the WWE Main Roster, and how things differ on RAW and NXT.
“It still does when we’re about five, six weeks in and every single day that I get to walk into work is incredible. I forget sometimes that I get to work with them, it’s so surreal. It’s crazy. There’s a lot more pressure on Raw than there was on NXT. A lot more eyeballs looking at you and everyone is standing there watching you and seeing what you can do. So, definitely a different feel to it but it’s a good feel, I thrive off the pressure.”
Stark has been placed in the spotlight, being linked with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus in her feud with Becky Lynch. With Stratus already being rightfully considered a legend, and Lynch well on her way to the same status. Stark being chosen to be involved in this feud is an excellent start to a new stage of her career.
One thing that her critics have often pointed to through her time in NXT was a lack of character direction. Both Lynch & Stratus can assist Stark in this regard, being two of the best defined characters in the history of the WWE women’s division. Stark is set to be part of the 2023 Money In The Bank ladder match. This was set up by defeating Natalya to qualify for the match.
