‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There’s plenty of fun times coming our way, and it looks like there’s going to be some bad decisions being made and others trying to clean up other bad decisions that were made.
Without further ado, let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, July 11: Finding balance
There are times to outsiders where it looks like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) doesn’t care for his children as much as he does.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) knows better, but she’s still concerned given his history of manipulating his children to compete against each other, so she’s going to ask him what’s going on.
She’ll want to help solve any problems Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is having, and that’s going to entail questioning Victor trying to force his sons to work together.
While it makes sense that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) would be the grounding voice Adam will need, the main concern is how Adam will feel and handle what he’ll view as a baby sitter.
It’s going to be a touchy subject for him, especially after Victor threatened to take McCall Unlimited away from him if he didn’t do as he wished.
This will be a good scene and conversation, and Sharon may come away from it understanding and maybe even agreeing with Victor’s idea. Stranger things have happened.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, July 11: More time
It takes a special kind of person to say they’re sorry for causing their children pain, then asking them to continue enduring it while said parent works to benefit herself.
And that’s the spot Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has put herself in as “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect her to tell Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) to wait a while longer while she tries to get off of taking any responsibility for her actions.
These types of storylines used to be considered After School specials where it showed the mental and emotional abuse a parent puts a child through, but now it’s expected that Phyllis will put herself first.
This whole situation is entirely her fault, and she’ll continue to only accept part of the blame because Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is the real enemy.
Between her and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) we’re surprised anyone takes them seriously anymore. But they do and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will have his own issues when he calls an Abbott family meeting.
We think that’ll go over as well as Phyllis telling Summer to keep suffering while she works to avoid responsibility, but we could be surprised.
Will Summer get her mom to accept any responsibility or will she continue following Phyllis’ lead? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
