When fans saw Hangman Page wrestle Jon Moxley in 2022, it was a simple match between two of the most loved men in AEW. No one could have guessed how things would turn out, as now – they will march into battle in Blood & Guts.

Moxley has Blackpool Combat Club members Wheeler Yuta & Claudio Castagnoli backing him up, as well as Konosuke Takeshita & PAC. Meanwhile, Page has reunited with The Elite, and with Kota Ibushi making his long awaited AEW debut – The Golden Elite are here for a fight.

It Started With A Lariat & Cowboy, And Ends With Blood & Guts

Claudio Castagnoli would be first in the ring for the Blackpool Combat Club, giving him five minutes alone with Kenny Omega.

The match can end by submission or surrender – and only when all ten men enter the match. Omega would be driven into the corner for a flurry of strikes, but was able to come back hard against Castagnoli.

Castagnoli would block a suplex attempt from Omega, before hitting a big knee lift. Omega almost be thrown to the second ring, but landed on his feet and came off the top rope with a flying crossbody.

A series of chops from Omega would land, with Castagnoli able to find an opening to fire back with some quick European Uppercuts.

Omega would catch Castagnoli with the running dunk, before PAC would hit the ring for Blackpool Combat Club. PAC would catch Omega with a Missile Dropkick as he entered the cage, and Omega would be outnumbered for the next three minutes.

Castagnoli & PAC would take turns beating Omega in the corner, with Castagnoli taking a well deserved breather – likely the only chance he’ll get.

Omega would be stomped on by both men, and no matter what happens – the match can’t end for him anytime soon. Hangman Page would hit the ring for The Elite, and would take down PAC & Castagnoli rather quickly.

A moonsault onto Castagnoli would land, before Page & Omega worked together on a German Suplex. Their chemistry is clear, as former Tag Team Champions.

Jon Moxley Brings The Weapons To The Cage

Castagnoli would take Omega to the second ring and dropkick him into the cage, with Jon Moxley marching to the ring next for the BCC. Moxley was armed with a fork and went after the face of both Omega & Page.

He’d grab a bucket from under the ring, before knocking Page down with a King Kong Lariat. The bucket was poured out, and now one ring was full of broken glass.

Nick Jackson would be next to the ring, trying to use his speed to even the odds – taking on three men at once. Castagnoli was sent into the glass with a hurricanrana, before Moxley launched Nick into the glass with the X-Plex. Moxley would put glass on the chest and stomp it in, before Omega was suplexed onto the broken glass.

Wheeler Yuta was out next with a steel chair in hand, but used the fork on Nick as he hit the ring. A brainbuster onto the chair would follow, and Blackpool Combat Club was in complete control of the match. Omega would be driven face first into the cage by PAC, as Moxley would punch him in the chest.

Matt Jackson was out next, and went right after PAC with lariats before the Cazadora into the glass – landing face first. Matt would fake out Yuta with a superkick, causing him to drop the chair before hitting a DDT. Moxley would stack the Young Bucks in the ring, before hitting a series of suplexes on both.

Kota Ibushi Hits An AEW Ring To Start The Match Beyond

Omega would hit the Kotoro Crusher on Yuta, right into the broken glass. Konosuke Takeshita would be the final man for the Blackpool Combat Club, with a steel chair in hand.

He’d hit a Double German Suplex on the Young Bucks, and punched a steel chair into the face of Omega. A big lariat would follow, and Omega was sent into the glass.

Moxley would pull a bed of nails out from under the ring and set it up in the corner before dropkicking Omega into it. Not done, he’d scoop slam Omega into the nails – as the final timer started. The music of Kota Ibushi would hit, and The Elite would become The Golden Elite – as their Golden Star hit the ring.

Yuta would try to stop him from reaching the ring but was dropped with a quick strike. Ibushi would be instantly in the zone, punching out Takeshita, Castagnoli & PAC before going to save Omega from Moxley. He’d use his Karate background for some big strikes, and would kick Moxley into his bed of nails.

A standing moonsault would follow, crushing Moxley further into the nails. The Golden Lovers would cut down Takeshita before the Kamigoye was blocked by Castagnoli & PAC. Page would bash Moxley with a trash can as Omega was locked in the STF, and Yuta would scale the cage.

    Making It Rain Thumbtacks

Matt would be called to start a brawl on the top of the cage, and he accepted – trading blows as everyone else brawled in the ring below.

Northern Lights Suplexes would follow on the top of the cage, and Yuta was at risk of being thrown off the cage but blocked with a big DDT. Having been spooked, Yuta would return to the ring – leaving Matt up top.

PAC & Castagnoli would set up piledrivers, but Matt would rain thumbtacks to the ring – before Nick & Page hit backdrops.

Matt would return to the ring, and Ibushi would break out of a Figure Four Leg Lock from Moxley. The crowd would chant for a table, and got it. Ibushi would powerbomb PAC into a double kick from The Young Bucks before a series of dives from The Golden Elite.

Moxley would be slammed into the thumbtacks, before the table was set up by the Young Bucks. Ibushi would be hit with the Bastard Driver into the tacks, but managed to hang on to drive Takeshita into the tacks moments later.

We’d see a series of superplexes as PAC would scale the cage and launched himself through the table and Matt Jackson.

Jon Moxley Saves Wheeler Yuta By Throwing In The Towel

The teams would regroup in the rings before meeting in center ice for a ten man brawl. Moxley would hit a cutter before a knee strike from Ibushi. PAC took Ibushi out, but Omega threw him into the tacks.

The One Winged Angel was set, but PAC blocked into the Brutalizer. BCC would slap on submissions across the ring, with Ibushi being the man to get free and break everything up with sudden and stiff strikes.

Omega would be battered in the corner by a series of running strikes, but despite having started the match -was ready to keep fighting. PAC would get into an argument with Castagnoli, with Takeshita trying to keep the peace before PAC flipped off his team mates and left. Omega would hit the jumping V-Trigger before some Snap Dragon Suplexes.

Page would hit the Buckshot on Castagnoli before the Last Call on Yuta with Omega. Don Callis called Takeshita out of the match, leaving BCC with a 5-3 disadvantage.

Moxley was cuffed to the ropes, and Yuta was choked out with a chain for the surrender from Moxley. The Golden Elite win Blood & Guts!
