‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There’s some fun twists coming that should make things interesting in Genoa City in the coming days, so we’re stocking up on the popcorn.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednwesday, August 2: Kyle’s running away
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) have a lot on their plate, and worry about their son’s marriage and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) running away from his pain is one of their top concerns.
Of course, they won’t be the only ones worried about him as Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will be beside herself after she learns Kyle is on a business trip with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
It’ll feel like the final nail in the coffin for her marriage, and despite any assurances Summer will be certain it’s over and it’s her fault.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednwesday, August 2: Revenge of rebound crush?
While Summer’s trying to work through her feelings, she’ll find Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) in the park ready to have a picnic lunch. She won’t feel like eating but she’ll join him anyway and they’ll talk.
This will be another good scene between them as Chance will draw on his own unfortunate experience to help Summer know she’s not alone and what she can expect to feel.
But things are going to take a curious turn when Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) arrives after moving her schedule around and Summer will leave them to their romantic lunch.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers don’t think she’ll leave as she’ll stick around to watch them.
This will be a good indicator on if she’s developing feelings for Chance after he’s been so kind and helpful to her, or maybe even plotting her own revenge toward Kyle by landing her own man.
Either way, we don’t see it working out well for her since Sharon’s involved and Chance is pretty clear about how he feels about her.
This has all sort of potential to get messy, and we’re looking forward to seeing what the writers have in mind for the threesome going forward.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednwesday, August 2: Billy the double agent
In a fun twist, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will be feeling pretty good about her chances to bring Jabot down to teach Jack a lesson about who he should trust.
In fact, she’ll enlist Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to do to Jack and Diane what he’s doing to Ashley, and that’s get information and help Diane’s incompetence cripple Jabot so she can come in and pick up the pieces.
There are so many ways this plan can backfire for either of them, and it’s going to be interesting to see if Ashley will pull herself back before it’s too late or not.
