‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to get a new week started with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This looks like it’s going to be a fun character building episode and we’ll say goodbye to a couple of characters for the time being and another gets a promotion.
We’ve got some popcorn ready, so let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 21: Chance gets a promotion
With a serious lack of manpower in the Genoa City police department character wise, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will be given the promotion to interim chief until either a replacement is found or he’s given a full promotion.
This will be an interesting scene since it’ll give him and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) an excuse to celebrate, but more than that there’s a possibility we could see a couple more characters come in to fill out the police ranks.
If Chance does take over as the chief full time, it’ll open up plenty of new storylines with him dealing with subordinates and their drama as they work to keep Genoa City safe.
Of course, this could just be a pie in the sky dream “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are hoping for, but if done right it could give us a fresh influx of talent, new relationships, and new dynamics to explore.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 21: Trying for more?
In a curious scene, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will finally meet up with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), and things are going to get a little awkward.
Heather will admit she’s been avoiding Daniel, but something more will be off about their conversation and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will pick up on it.
There’s a chance that after seeing Daniel and Lily together, Heather will be looking to get back what she moved on from before. Basically after she Daniel get himself squared away and her chosen knight wasn’t what she expected.
After Daniel leaves, Lily will have a conversation with Heather, and we have a feeling it’ll be as much of a feeling out chat as it will be staking her claim and letting Heather know it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 21: Leaving town
Follow Connor Newman (Judah Mackey)’s desire to go to a new school where everyone won’t know his parents’ problems or his life story, he’ll find a school near Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach)’s place.
He’ll give that information to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), since no adult thinks to research anything on their own apparently, and they’ll agree to the move after some arguing.
Chelsea and Connor will get ready to leave Genoa City to stay with Anita until they find their own place, and this will create an interesting dilemma as it’ll put a strain on Chelsea and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s relationship at some point.
