‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This looks like it’s going to be a fun episode as the best laid plans will blow up and go sideways for all the wrong reasons. Without further ado, let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restles’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 24: Victor’s test
In a move that should surprise no one, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is going to continue manipulating everyone under his power as he’ll have a chat with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about SNB Media, and they’ll agree on everything.
So, Victor will announce this Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that he’s going to merge SNB Media with Newman Media.
This will trigger all sorts of problems as Adam will ask if it’s because of him and Nick will refuse to work with Nate and lambast him for being willing to stab anyone in the back to get ahead.
What “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers find funny about this is in many ways, Nate’s more like Victor than Nick. But he’s not family, and despite Victor saying no one will be fired we beg to differ.
We think this is a test for Nate. Victor wants to see if he’ll really betray Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) for a greater opportunity or will he remain loyal.
If he fails, Victor will chuff about knowing Nate wasn’t the right man and his family can fall into line. And if Nate succeeds, he’ll transfer or promote him to get him away from Victoria.
‘The Young and the Restles’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 24: Victoria messes up the Abbott peace
Everyone’s been worried about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) sinking into his old demons and habits as he works to get into Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson)’s confidence.
One of them is Victoria, who is as concerned with Billy’s well being as he is with hers, and she’ll grill Ashley about if Billy’s okay and if she’s going to help him and so on.
This will trigger Ashley and we expect her to have second thoughts about moving on from her war with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) because she can’t leave Billy to fight against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) all by himself.
If she does decide to keep fighting, it’s going to end very badly for everyone when she realizes Billy and Jack played her. It’s a shame Billy is so good at playing a double agent, but then there wouldn’t be any fun fireworks coming our way in the coming weeks.
Is Victor testing Nate or is he up to something else? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
