‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re ready to get things rolling for a new week, and we have plenty of fun spoilery goodies to share.
This is going to be a fun episode as we’re going to dive into some intense emotions and angles being worked.
Let’s grab some popcorn and dive in!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday, August 28: Liz offers support
Now that Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) is opening up to those close to him, it’s going to burden and help Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
It burdens him in that Finn not only knows his father is dying and he has to help him tell his brother. But more than that, all of his medical knowledge is useless and he’ll feel completely helpless to help his father.
He’ll feel he’s lost so much time with Gregory, but he’ll also have a support system in place.
Since Gregory told Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about him having ALS, she’ll be there for Finn every step of the way, offering any support she can.
She’ll encourage him not to waste what time they have left by blaming himself, but to embrace the time and enjoy every minute of it.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday, August 28: Get out of jail free card
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is used to things going her way, and now that she’s intent on getting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) out of Pentonville either early or all together, she’s going to go to the best lawyer in town.
For years, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has gotten Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) out of tough jam after tough jam, so Carly will go to her and plead her case.
Well, flat out begging Diane is more like it. She’ll cite the judge ignoring Drew’s plea deal and coming down extra hard on him, which was the judge’s right to do so.
To be fair, Drew isn’t the one that should be in prison. Carly should be doing the time since she didn’t listen to him or Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about not helping them.
But she didn’t, and Drew threw himself on his sword thinking he would have a cushy plea deal in place so he could skate like so many wealthy people before him when they get into trouble.
And that’s going to make this interesting. We fully expect Carly to get her way because why should she be forced to learn the error of her ways and pay for a crime she commits?
But more than that, there’s a possibility that something will go sideways with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) involved, and we’re curious how it’ll play out.
