‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This should be an interesting episode as there’s plenty on the line for Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will look for a medical update while Hamilton Finn (Mchael Easton) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) share notes on Gregory’s illness.
Let’s jump into some spoilers!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 22: The same meeting
As luck or fate would have it, Alexis and Finn will be at the same AA meeting, and when it’s his turn, Finn will share his recent troubles, which will include learning about his father being diagnosed with ALS.
It’ll be a hard share, but “General Hospital” Spoilers think it’ll be purposeful as it’ll be a way for him to let Alexis know he’s not happy that she knew about his father’s illness and didn’t tell him.
He’ll be able to forgive Gregory faster and easier than Alexis because he knows his dad and saw the sincerity in his eyes. Alexis will have to work a little harder as Finn will feel betrayed on both fronts, but we think he’ll come around.
This will give them a chance to talk about what he’s dealing with and what they can do to help. Finn will feel helpless due to there being no cure, but there is the hope that Gregory will be misdiagnosed by the Mayo Clinic.
If this fan theory is right, it’ll be good news since we like Gregory and would love to see him and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) form a relationship.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 22: Getting updates
Speaking of Gregory, he’s going to be getting a medical update at General Hospital, and it looks like he’s going to be expecting more intensive treatment when TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) talks with him.
This will be an interesting scene given the theory that Gregory was misdiagnosed, and we should have some kind of news about Gregory’s condition and we’ll learn if the fan theory is right of if we get to watch another debilitating disease take away one of our favorites.
Even if it is ALS, they could slow the progress down and not have months pass in a couple of weeks or even have a developmental treatment that can slow the disease’s progress.
Given the show made a rapist into a worshipped hero and had a weather dominator, twisting reality a little in this way seems simple enough.
Was Gregory misdiagnosed or will we get yet another depressing storyline? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “General Hospital” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
