WWE Raw Results returned as Kevin Owens limped backstage and Jey Uso caught up with him and tried to apologize.
Owens told him he heard it all and told him to find his new Bloodline and dye his hair purple while he’s at it. The WWE shared a video package remembering 9/11.
The Miz vs. Akira Tozawa
Miz went for a boot and a clothesline off the bat and Tozawa avoided them, then took it to Miz with some kicks and a hurricanrana.

Miz then caught him with a boot and hammered away on him while shouting at the fans. Tozawa fought back, but Miz took it to another level and closed it out with a trio or Skull Crushing Finales for the pin.
Gable lays out the challenge
In the ring, Kaiser demanded everyone’s attention for the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion in history and GUNTHER came out.
GUNTHER took his place on top of a Olympic type of stand and held his title up before taking the mic and he opened things by speaking in German.

Then he switched to English to talk about how he rewrote history and how he’s officially the longest and greatest Intercontinental Champion in history.
It means a lot to him and he wanted to share some words to the legends that held the title before, and said they contributed nothing. He elevated the title to heights it never saw before and he’s running out of competition.
Chad Gable interrupted him to say they had a match for the ages and everyone’s talking about it. A week later GUNTHER is the one that walked him way into the history books and congratulated him.
He invited Gable into the ring to say what he wanted to his face.
Gable said he saw in his eyes that no one came as close to beating him as he did, and he also saw the looks on his family’s face and the tears GUNTHER caused.
It lit a fire under Gable, and he promised to beat GUNTHER again. He doesn’t know when, where, or how, but he’s getting another shot and he’ll win it.
GUNTHER told him he’s a terrific athlete but he’s a disgusting father for wanting to drag his family out to watch him lose again.
Gable nailed him with a right but was quickly overwhelmed by the number. Otis came out to help and went Vinci and Kaiser to the floor, but GUNTHER took Otis down and Ciampa came out with a steel chair to send Imperium running.
