Since his passing, Bray Wyatt has taken on an almost mythic quality as there has been so much outpouring of love from fans and his fellow talent that it’s impossible not to know who he was.
In the days after his death, the WWE announced they were donating the net proceeds from his merchandise sales to his fiancé and children.
Bray Wyatt Removed from the Next Two Action Figure Lines to Give his Family “Some Space at this Time”
Quickly, the WWE shop was picked clean, leaving only a couple of shirts and pictures at the time, but they’ve since rebuilt and have a wider selection of shirts and Uncle Howdy masks.
As for his action figures, well, that’s in the hands of people selling on Ebay and other sites and for many, they’ve used this as an opportunity to charge more for the figures.
This is a typical thing that happens following someone that’s famous passing, and now prices may go up even more with the announcement that he won’t be featured in the next two Mattel action figure waves.

Hitting pause
Mattel issues a statement regarding their decision and Ringside Collectibles shared it on X:
“We’ve had to adjust two waves of upcoming WWE Figures due to the unfortunate passing of WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt. We’ll be offering the performer’s family some space at this time, but in partnership with WWE, we look forward to celebrating this amazing Superstar and his legacy in future lines to come. Bray will be removed from the following waves: WWE Elite Collection Greatest Hits 3, WWE Ultimate Edition Wave 20.”
To be honest, we understand wanting to give his family time to grieve, but since he just passed it’s reasonable to assume they could use the proceeds from these sales more than ever, so it does have us wondering about it.
Still, this doesn’t mean Bray Wyatt action figures can’t be found as there are plenty of collectors that will gladly sell their figures as well as others looking to make a quick buck.
The wording of the statement does give hope that they could be planning something big for future Wyatt action figures and this pause could help them fully work out any details they may have before moving forward.
Wyatt was a creative genius, and most of the criticism he got was for his characters being difficult to face at times, but even with that he gave us some of the most memorable moments in the WWE over his career and for that we’ll always be thankful.
