Jade Cargill is a businesswoman and she knows how to present herself and set the stage for something grander, and it looks like she’s doing that when she was interviewed by ESPN’s Marc Raimondi.
They talked about a bunch of topics and it didn’t take long for Cargill to talk about her dream matches with all of the possibilities ahead of her.
One match we’re all looking forward to is her and Bianca Belair at some point down the road. Cargill named her as someone she thinks would sell out a stadium as a WrestleMania main event.
Special thanks to @the_wrestling_news2 for the transcript.
“I am interested in facing Belair, and it’s definitely a WrestleMania main event. That’s something that will have people glued to their television screens. That’s something that will have people buying out stadiums. That’s a dream match and I think people will show up and show out for that one.”
Thinking big
Displaying confidence is nothing new for Cargill since she burst onto the scene in AEW, and that ambition is a good thing. It’s what helps drive us into doing something more and achieving our dreams.
Still, there is a consensus that she needs to put in a lot of work in NXT to be able to rise to the occasion in the WWE and we have no doubt she’ll make it. She’s a good fit and will be a solid addition to the main roster when the time comes.
The issue will then be how will the WWE book her? NXT is a big step up from AEW’s booking of the women’s division, but the WWE main roster will be a step down from NXT in some ways.
The women’s division simply isn’t utilized outside of the same core we’ve seen for years, but it has gotten better and will continue to grow as more young talent is added.
Once Cargill earns her stripes so to speak, it’ll be great to see what she can bring to the table and how Triple H will utilize her.
Her facing Belair is just one of many possibilities, and it’ll be great to see her get a chance at one or both women’s titles instead of a mid card championship.
In AEW, she took things to another level, and with the roster in NXT, Raw, and Smackdown, the sky is the limit to what she can achieve.
