AEW Dynamite rolls on, Kenny Omega will be in action later. First, we hear from Matt Hardy who again mentions the Elite Deletion. But he points out that last week he didn’t hear a word of it. Instead we got the Bubbly Bunch, and he groans as if disgusted. Says that as Jericho was spilling the juice that is orange over his counter, Damascus could feel that Jericho’s essence was trembling in fear. Matt says the only person in his group who had the testicles to mention his name was Sammy Guevara, the False Spanish God! Suggests Jericho didn’t mention him because he doesn’t know how to handle him.
Says that Jericho may prefer having the other entity, Matt Hardy, speaking to him instead. We then cut to Matt looking more like his normal self talking about Jericho’s history. Says Matt and Nick Jackson are two of his closest friends, Cody is a big friend, Kenny is someone he has a lot of respect for. He understands why Chris is so mad because if you knock out all of the pillars of AEW there is chaos, and in chaos there is opportunity for Chris to take over at the top of the food chain. But AEW is not a platform for Chris Jericho or even for Matt Hardy. AEW is a platform for opportunity, for the generations to come to advance. He wants to protect that concept.
We then see Taz talking about the Snap Dragon Suplex of Kenny Omega, getting into the mechanics and leverage of how it works. Then, out comes Alan Angels – whose name they flash on the tron this time to let me get the spelling right – comes out to face off with Kenny Omega himself!

Teased lock-up, Angels with a leg kick to take him off guard. Kenny with a waistlock takedown, into a front facelock. Angels fights his way up with a hammerlock. Kenny reverses into a side headlock. Shoots him off, Kenny with a big shoulder block. Angels with a leapfrog but Kenny tries a Snap Dragon, Angels avoids it though, Kenny blocks a kick and responds with one of his own! Angels tries to block a chop but it’s a feint, Kenny kicks him in the gut. Full Nelson applied, Angels escapes and takes him down with a low dropkick, senton onto his back! Tries another but Kenny gets the knees up! Pendulum Backbreaker for a 2 count! Pummels him into the corner, then throws him into an adjacent buckle.
Angels reverses him into the corner, shoulder blocks and body shots! Kenny reverses an Irish Whip, big lariat flips him inside out! Kenny grabs him by the ankles and drags him, Angels grabs the apron skirt and pulls it onto the canvas as he gets pulled across the canvas. Angels bails from the ring, Kenny advances, Angels surprises him by pulling the apron skirt and tripping him! Goes up top, big Double Axe Handle for a 2 count! Clobbers him with forearms, Spinning Kick to the face! Angels up top once more, Kenny avoids him, V-Trigger is blocked, Angels with a combination of kicks, enziguri! Kip-up! Hits the ropes, Kenny ducks a clothesline, Snap Dragon nailed! Hits the ropes, V-Trigger right to the head and covers for a nearfall! Deadlift Gutwrench Powerbomb for a second V-Trigger! And that is that!

Man it’s crazy the people Kenny will just let hang with him. This might’ve been a tryout match for Angels or something.
