General Hospital star Carolyn Hennesy, known for her portrayal of Diane Miller on the ABC soap, has added a new, four-legged member to her family.
The actress recently adopted a puppy from Animal Saints Rescue Society during a trip to Massachusetts.
Hennesy shared her excitement and challenges of puppy parenthood on social media. The little bundle of joy, initially named Ernest, quickly earned the moniker “Bela Lugosi” after a couple of nips on their first day together.
She posted to her fans on Instagram,
Picked up a little something in the Berkshires. The new addition went from being named Ernest to Bela Lugosi on account of biting me twice on our first full day together. He has since mellowed…I hope. Getting him into the carrier at 4:00 am will be fun. I suspect there will be some ground beef hiding a trazodone tablet in the process. He’s a gem of a boy. Thank you Ivey Abitz, for introducing me to the newest family member. I firmly believe that Sophie Tucker, Spanky Gene, and most especially Arbuckle, have sent him to me from afar, proving they are still watching and loving.
