On Smackdown Live, Lacey Evans has become the top face in their women’s division. The once hated heel has become an easy fan favorite, and has been a common foe of both Sasha Banks & Bayley in recent months. She would even beat Banks in the qualifier for Money In The Bank, where she will enter her first match of this type. Could the Sassy Southern Belle soon be called Mrs. Money In The Bank?
Lacey Evans Is Tougher Than She Looks
While you might not think it due to her fashionable outfits and ladylike nature, Lacey Evans was introduced to wrestling during her time as military police in the United States Marines. She served for five years, and that is enough to toughen anyone up. You need to be able to adapt on the fly in a job like that, a trait that could come in handy with the unpredictable nature of this years Money In The Bank match. She will be brawling her way up the WWE HQ to even get a glimpse at the briefcase, and her toughness will be put to the test on this trecherous climb.
The Women’s Right Can Put Someone Down With Ease
The best finisher in wrestling is one that can be hit on anyone out of nowhere, and that is exactly what Evans had in her deadly right hand punch. She has been putting down everyone from Sasha Banks to Bayley herself with this move, and that could be all she needs to get the edge on opponents on the wild climb. It is a simple move to pull off, and could even drop foes like Nia Jax with ease.
Overdue On Becoming A Champion
Since Evans made her WWE debut back in 2016, she has shown promise. She has always had the look of a champion, and has honed her skills as well. Impressive showings against Bayley and at Wrestlemania in the Fatal Five Way shows that she is ready to be a champion. Having her announce her cash in just ahead of the first Smackdown with a crowd again could make her an iconic moment of a hero overcoming a hated villian in Bayley.
Lacey Evans likely has the best chance out of anyone on Smackdown in winning this match, as she has been involved with Bayley since before the Royal Rumble. This alone gives her an edge, as the storyline has been brewing for longer than any other current feud.
