Another episode of AEW Dynamite is on tap here this evening and boy is there a lot to talk about for this one. It’s a miracle folks… after weeks of rigorous rehabbing, finally, MJF is back in action tonight! You can expect the same coverage of this show as always, which means in-depth results and recaps, plus a preview of everything that’s on tap tonight. Like I said, lot to discuss so let’s get into it!
MFJ Returns To The Ring After His Lengthy Injury Spell Tonight On AEW Dynamite
Modern medicine and training regiments mixed with sheer grit and will is a wonder to behold. We’ve seen plenty of seemingly miraculous recoveries in pro wrestling these past few years, things that never would’ve been thought possible in any other era. John Cena was renowned for his uncanny ability to return from injury early. People like Edge and Daniel Bryan who, for years thought they would never wrestle again, fighting back and making their returns to the ring. People like Jushin Liger, Dustin Rhodes, PCO and others putting on performances that men their age were simply never meant to be capable of. Enormous wrestlers like Keith Lee putting on dazzling athletic spectacles that men of his size could only dream of back in the day, and conversely smaller workers like Ricochet displaying deceptive, mind blowing strength.
But there will never be a feat that even comes close to comparing to that of MJF. He was able to rehab his career-threatening hangnail in record time, only for tragedy to strike when he cut himself shaving. And yet even though this too was merely a couple of weeks ago, somehow, some way he is about to set foot in that ring here tonight. Never will we ever see something so inspirational again in our lives…
It will be his first match since the start of the pandemic. We of course don’t have a name for his opponent, it’s very likely to be a quick squash of an indy guest. MJF is going to be facing Jungleboy at Double or Nothing and so this would logically be a good time for him to go in there with Marko Stunt but I imagine they’d have announced that was the case if so. Might be saving that for next week. Needless to say, MJF over.
