After the wild brawl that ended Mia Yim & Candice LeRae’s match, with Johnny Gargano & Keith Lee coming to their aid, things would be tense in Full Sail. William Regal would make the mixed tag match official, with Lee & Gargano not dressed to compete. In street clothes, the NXT North American Champion with his pink shoes would be ready to go, ensuring Gargano doesn’t flee.
Keith Lee Shows His Power
With Gargano high tailing it out of the arena, Lee would go and pick him up with a military press, and start to carry him back to the ring. LeRae would hop onto his back, which would not do much to hinder Keith Lee. Lee would still throw Gargano into the rink, before he would be hit with a dropkick from Yim. Once on the apron, Lee finally realized LeRae was on his back and would gently shove her off.
The bell would ring and Yim would dropkick LeRae as they restart their match where it left off. LeRae would be thrown across the ring mulitple times as Gargano would be pensive about getting up to the apron. LeRae would be hit with Seoul Food, which got a near fall. After Gargano distracted Yim during a suplex attempt, LeRae would take control with a kick to the leg followed by a DDT to the foot. Lee would call for a tag but Yim wanted to beat down LeRae some more, and seemed to want to face Gargano instead. LeRae would crawl between the legs of Yim, but eat a Dragon Suplex after being pulled to her feet. Gargano would come in and break up the pin, but Keith Lee would throw Gargano around before beating him down in the ring. They would not officially be in the match but would you want to be the one ref trying to stop an angry Keith Lee.
Johnny Gargano Causes Potential Injury
Keith Lee would go for the spirit bomb, but Johnny Gargano would use his car keys to attack the eyes, which he had in his pant pockets. Yim would check on her husband before LeRae slipped in to roll her up for the win.
