Will Finn Balor Ever Use The Demon Again?

Will Finn Balor Ever Use The Demon Again?

At NXT Takeover: In Your House, we would see Finn Balor get revenge on Damien Priest. Priest had attacked Balor backstage weeks ago, on the night when Balor was set to have a number one contenders match with Velveteen Dream. Priest would also cost Balor a match against Cameron Grimes, and officially announce that he was the man who attacked him. It was a short but heated rivalry, and Balor has brought his alter ego ‘The Demon’ out for less in the past. However, it was just Balor on this night. Will we ever see Balor summon ‘The Demon’ again?

Finn Balor Uses The More Aggressive Style On The Regular Now

Since coming back to NXT as a heel, Finn Balor has been a lot more aggressive in the ring. His matches with Matt Riddle, Johnny Gargano & now Damien Priest all show this side of Balor, one that was normally only seen when he’d put on his war paint as The Demon. More brawling, and less care for the well being of his opponents would be a trademark of The Demon, and that’s what we see from Balor normally now. This almost removes the need for this alter ego.

It Is Too Popular With Fans

While Balor is desperately trying to be the bad guy in NXT these days, he’s just been too damn cool to actually hate him. Balor coming out as The Demon would simply get fans even more excited to see him, which is exactly what they are trying to avoid right now. When the longer version of his theme hits and the smoke begins to rise, people get very excited for whats to come, they love to see it.

    Needs A Worthy Threat

While Balor has brought out The Demon in the past to just demolish Baron Corbin, it would usually be reserved for his biggest matches when titles would be on the line or when he’d be facing down a daunting opponent. The exception was when he wanted to prove that Finn Balor the man could beat Brock Lesnar, which was a mistake. When it comes to NXT, only three men currently would make sense for The Demon to come out for. The first is Karrion Kross, who just tore Ciampa to shreds. Another is Keith Lee, who is seemingly unbeatable. The final is NXT UK Champion WALTER, someone who Balor is itching to fight. Those men all have such a huge advantage over Balor that he’d look into that next level.

Who do you think Balor will bring The Demon out for next? Will we ever see it again? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
