Day two of Fan’s Choice theme week is here from January 6, 2003, and CBS “The Bold and he Beautiful” Spoilers has a throwback spoiler ready to go. This should be a fun episode as it has Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss) going head to head in a fashion show as part of the Portofino Challenge ins beautiful Portofino, Italy.
To add some more fun to the event, Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and Clarke Garrison (Dan McVicar) emcee the event, putting them in position to exchange barbs if needed.

Spectra vs. Forrester
What makes this event a little different from what we’re used to is Ridge is designing for Spectra Fashions while Eric chose to remain with Forrester Creations. On the surface, it would also seem like it was something more than a friendly competition, and it was. Just not in the antagonistic way we’d expect.
As the show neared its end, Ridge thanked Eric for the diversion of a fashion contest. It was meant to help him refocus and move away from grieving his dead wife, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo). It also gave him a chance to refocus on someone else, but CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers will mention that shortly.
As the introduction to the Spectra Fashions showstopper proves less than appealing to Ridge — confetti and a hue glamour shot of Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley). The Forrester introduction was much better and classier.
The crowd oohed and aahed as the final model approached in a rowboat. She wore an elegant wedding gown Eric had designed and it caught everyone’s attention.
CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers love how the woman wearing the dress was Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). She brought various emotions out of those watching from awe out of the crowd to admiration from Ridge, and contempt and disgust from Stephanie.
On the plus side, we may have gotten a glimpse into why Ridge married Brooke so soon after learning of Taylor’s death.
Odd timing
While this has helped fill in some holes in understanding why things happened later, it does bring to question if this is truly a Fan’s Choice week selected by the fans. The reason we’re saying this is, as CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers have stated several time previously, fans on social media have been wanting early episodes. While the premiere one was show, they jumped right back to the 2000s.
It may just be a coincidence, but it feels more than a little coincidental. And it gives us a great chance to throw out our idea of a soap opera network where we can watch the older episodes. What’s the worst that can happen?
