Lately you’re not able to turn on a WWE program without seeing Charlotte Flair. She’s been all over Monday Night RAW, NXT and even appeared on Smackdown Live. Wherever she shows up, she has a starring role, even having beaten the RAW Women’s Champion Asuka after just losing the NXT Women’s Championship to Io Shirai the night before. All this focus has fans sick of Charlotte Flair, and are wondering if it is time for Charlotte to leave WWE for a while?
Charlotte Flair Has Trademarks Ready For An Indy Career
A few months back we would report that Charlotte alongside her fiancee Andrade would apply for some trademarks. At the time this started the discussion on if they would be leaving WWE soon. Charlotte has the ‘Ashley Flair’ and ‘Queen Of Wrestling’ trademarks, while Andrade grabbed ‘La Sombra’ and ‘El Ídolo’. These help secure their future, if the power couple would ever decide to head elsewhere.
You Can’t Miss Her If She Never Leaves
Charlotte Flair is possibly one of, if not the best female wrestler on the planet. She is the total package of charisma, promo ability and wrestling prowess, deserving of the Flair title. Despite this, she has gotten incredibly stale, and fans are sick of seeing her getting focus in WWE; even if it’s well deserved. Her taking a break from WWE, working promotions like Impact Wrestling against Tessa Blanchard or going to STARDOM in Japan to work with people like Mayu Iwatani could really help her get fans back on her side. Add in a possible huge Royal Rumble return once her break is done, and you’d likely see fans enjoy her more.
The best comparison to her situation comes with Randy Orton. They both come from established wrestling families, have natural ability in the ring, the look of a star and more. Both got their start in WWE, and are likely to remain there for the duration of their career. Looking at Randy Orton now, if he’s not in a feud like the one with Edge is just directionless. He’s done everything there is to be done, beat everyone there is to beat. Charlotte will end up in the same role, if she doesn’t take a chance on herself.
